Is Delivery free?
Delivery is free for everyone who spends a minimum of $35.00 per order in the GTA.
Where do you deliver?
We will deliver to addresses within the GTA.
When do you deliver? How fast can we expect to receive our basket once an order is placed?
We are currently working on a delivery schedule that will best fit our customer's needs while ensuring our carbon footprint is low. We are currently expecting a 24-48 hour delivery window.
We will be modifying our delivery schedule based on feedback, if you have any comments or concerns please let us know.
I've never bought a vegetable and fruit basket before. This is new to me. How do I know I'll love it?
There is always a first time for everything. Let your first purchase of a vegetable and fruit basket be with Food That Beets. We want to be 100% satisfied with your experience. We usually do not change our already made baskets but if there is an item that doesn't work with you please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate you. If you love seasonal, healthy and fresh food then this is the perfect option for you. If you don't love the basket, then we also have the options to create your own basket.
Are your products certified organic?
The fruits and vegetables that we source from local farmers in Ontario are 100% certified organic. Food That Beets is not a certified organic company as we do not grow vegetables or fruits that have been certified organic. However, we only source fruits and vegetables from certified organic farms in Ontario. All certified organic product will be labelled in the product description.
I notice that you grow your own vegetables. Do you sell these?
Yes, we love growing our own vegetables and we have enough to sell. We will make these available to customers who wish to purchase. The vegetables we grow are not certified organic, however we do not use any pesticides or fertilizers. The seeds we use are organic seeds and non-GMO. The vegetables we grow will be labelled as so in the product description.
I received my box but something in it is not to my satisfaction. What do I do?
You have up to 24 hours from the time your box is delivered to let us know if an item is not to your satisfaction. We will be happy to exchange it. We do not do any refunds.
What are your health safety protocols during the COVID-19 outbreak?
We take your safety and our safety seriously. We source our produce from local farms and a distribution center which minimizes our contact with the public. When we prepare your boxes we wash our hands with soap first, use gloves, and wear shield masks. Our drivers are equipped with hand sanitizers, gloves, and a shield mask. Delivery will be contactless. We will deliver and place the box at your front door.
